| If someone's hymen isn't broken can they still get a pap smear? |
| Umm yes the human has an opening |
| "Hymen" is sort of a stupid sexist thing that people think tends to correlate with virginity, but that's just not the case. Many girls are not born with hymens. There also like 20 different kinds of hymens, and they often "break" naturally just living life and doing ordinary things. |
| If you are artificially inseminated and vaginally deliver a baby are you still a virgin if you've never had intercourse? |
| Mine broke from riding a horse. |
| Paps aren't necessary if you're not sexually active, according to my doctor. |
| I'm afraid you're mistaken PP. I have only ever had sex with women, which lowers my risk for everything, and yet I had endometrial cancer that had moved to the cervix. I credit a pap with saving my life. |
Exactly! I was bron without one. |
Even if you're like, 40? So a 40 year old female virgin doesn't need a pap smear? |
| My doc recommended them before I was sexually active. I waited until 21 to go to the gyn since I had never been sexually active. Married now and still get them annually. |
But that doesn't answer the question at all. Can a person have a pap with an intact hymen? |
Yes you can, and it will be fine, but you don't need one.. Google is really a wonderful thing. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/pap-smear/AN01635 |
So are you saying that nuns who went into the convent as virgins never need pap smears? For their entire lives? |
Someone DID YOUR GOOGLING FOR YOU. Did you look at the link? |
Yes, and it makes presumptions and doesn't answer my question. Which is why I keep asking my question over and over using different words, hoping that SOMEONE will understand my question and actually answer it. |
