| Can someone who has followed the Baker takeover closely explain what the "strong" superintendent shift means in real life. What I have heard is that power is supposed to be shifting away from the BOE and the super/CEO is going to have more control and more authority. What does that actually mean though? What substantive changes were made so that this will happen? Sorry, I'm trying to keep up but I've gotten completely confused post-Baker - I know he added seats to BOE and got to pick the chair, but what was altered to empower the superintendent? |
