Childcare recommendation in Arlington/Alexandria????

Does anyone have a trusted childcare center to recommend in Arlington or Alexandria (we live in Fairlington and I work in Old Town so Alexandria is preferable)? We'll unfortunately need to return to work after Labor Day and will need infant care. Somewhere that offers flexibility as far as full/part time care would be great since we'll likely only need it 2-3 days/week. Thanks for any ideas!!

Good luck - most do not offer part time DC in this area - the only one I am aware of is Frog Pond farther out on Route 1 but they don't accept infants. You may want to go in on a nany share with someone nearby - this can be very effective if two parents want part time and can coordinate schedules as many ( though certainly not all) seem to be looking for more than part time hours.

getting infant care part time in a center may be tough. You may want to consider an in-home daycare.

One option: Infant toddler.com is a great resource for licensed in home day care providers. We found our provider through them (they give you 4-5 to interview based on geography and your preferences.)
