legal recruiter for inhouse positions

Anonymous
I want to go inhouse but am not sure the best way to look for the positions. The recruiters I have spoken to so far only seem to have law firm positions, which is exactly what I want to get away from. Do any recruiters specialize in inhouse positions? Any recommendations for legal recruiters who knows about inhouse positions? TIA

I was told by a law firm recruiter that in-house positions are so sought-after that companies don't use recruiters to fill them.

^^This. Traditional in-house positions first start with their major outside counsel and see if they can snag someone from there - and usually there's no need to go any further because so many want those jobs.
