Another thread made me curious. Does your pet have a middle name? How did you choose it?

Lol, I'm the person in the thread you're talking about. So yes. We gave the dog her father's name as her middle name.

My son is the only family member without a family middle name, so he gave his middle name to the dog so they could share.Growing up my dog snored like an outboard motor so we gave him the middle name of "Evenrude" inspired by the mosquito in the Rescuers who is named for an outboard motor manufacturer.

Yup. Well, kind of. His first + middle name combine to form a common phrase. He typically goes by his first name though, unless he has stolen a loaf of bread off the counter, in which case I use both together to let him know he is really in trouble. That's what middle names are primarily for, right?
