I really hope she didn't end up in the hospital from DV. Definitely think there is a lot of conflict if the press is now getting "stories" that she is volatile. They are starting to throw her under the bus.

Terry Schiavo, the woman whose persistent vegetative state gave rise to litigation between her husband and family, had suffered a cardiac arrest due to an eating disorder. It led to a coma, and then a vegetative state. Not saying it happened here but, for sure, it is something that can happen as a result of an eating disorder.

I recently listened to an old episode of the You're Wrong About podcast about Terry Schiavo. Although I remembered the big news story it was, I hadn't realized that her health condition was a result of an eating disorder. I think I always assumed it was from an accident. Very interesting episode.

I think it’s her own doing in some ways and it’s poor management. She and Will want autonomy, she wants to make a name for herself, she didn’t want to sit for a picture because of her current mental state, KP said fine what are you going to give us, she didn’t want to deal but had to get something out, it was probably a traumatic experience. She threw something together and told them to stick it in their hats. And this is what she gets for not playing along.

I think it is separate and was a coping mechanism perhaps.

I think it's possible that Christmas, will have been her last public appearance as a member of the RF.

The Enquirer piece shows his real face, if you were concerned about your wife's well being you would not be using the press to drag her through the mud. No, it's just one data point. He has seemed over it for a while now. He has stopped speaking of her publicly. He was seen visiting her once in contrast to Camilla. He has gone back to solo letterhead after 13 years. She was blamed and shamed re: photo, a dig at her hobby that had previously been valued. Negative stories about her instability and temper are starting to run, one was then switched to Harry. Projection and deflection there.

I agree with this take. And I’m team Kate. I’m sure if their marriage fell apart, it was entirely because of William and his unresolved issues.

If he does not want to be king, sabotaging his public image as his elderly father fights cancer would be one strategy.

Harry and Meg are probably kicking themselves for leaving the royal family . If they only stuck in there a bit longer..

If something happens to all of Will’s family then Harry would still be in line to the throne.

The key factor is his changing how he presents himself. Now surrogates may be harming her image, as she was blamed re: photo. Twist of the knife given her genuine interest in photography. It's cruel.

Right but interestingly it is being done in a way where we actually know very little about the specifics of his cancer or the seriousness/stage. Yet they have given enough that the public can allow him space. And can accept the unknown at this point in time for him. The Wales team got it wrong...the tone, the declaration of no further info, etc. Too rigid, too closed, breeding mystery and concern

This is just weird. It’s being seized upon by conspiracy theorists as an apparent example of the royal press offices directing a media outlet to change a story, or a media outlet trying to write a story about a possible conflict in the Waleses’ marriage. It's about William pivoting to present as he did when single - solo statements, not referring to his wife, etc. People don't want to see it but there are multiple data points.

She likely was ill, but that is not the driver of the situation now. He appears to be done. While trying to throw mud to look better.
