Quick says complete sincere apologies to everyone, including his wife and his kids, the staff of Radio1. Says they pride themselves on being honest and candid with their listeners. He said he is apologizing to all the listeners for what they put everyone through. Quick admitted the babysitter was an actress and it was a skit that went totally left. He said he is sorry for deceiving everyone, the staff, the listeners, and Danni. He said he was wife told him that if he did not apologize to not come home. Said his wife told him that he had to come clean and tell the truth to the listeners.
Danni is saying that it was a bit that went left, they did not anticipate the out of control spiral and the real anger, the fight within the Fam that we did not see (they say they did not speak to each other for a week and almost became enemies). She says they are so sorry for all of the pain that was caused, that they appreciate everyone that stuck behind them, they are sincerely sorry. . DJ59, kinda mimicked what Danni and Quick said. Says he knows that people see him as the guy that might be blunt and always going left, he wants to let everyone know that he personally apologized to Danni off the air and wanted to do it again on the air. He says he knows at some point she felt alone in that room and that is not OK and as brothers (him and Quick) that's not what they do and he said he will always fry Danni up but at the end of the day he has her back. He said he never wants her to feel intimidated or alone. Quick said they have had many conversations off the air and they are all 100% good. Danni agreed, said she knew they were sincere and that they had her back and agreed that they are family. Basically it was a love fest with lots of apologizing. I'm sure the audio of all this will be available later. I'm curious to know if they explained at some point earlier this morning exactly what happened. And clarified who knew what, when. When did it turn from "joke" to "serious". Both Quick and 59 seemed to imply that at some point it stopped being a joke and got serious and personal. |

+1 I can't believe no one is even mentioning the fact that she blew this entire thing out of proportion and acted so incredibly unprofessionally. Classic abuser mentality too--"well you made me do it! You made me quit my job and storm out! You just made me so mad!" Um what? And isn't her "person"--the guy who apparently is helping her make childcare decisions now--some dude she's only been dating for 6 to 8 months? She doesn't waste a second spilling all her crazy. |

Exactly... if anyone should have been fired it should have been a Danni. This was a PRE PLANNED BIT. With HIRED ACTORS. Everyone was aware of this. Sherm even posted clips from the studio on the day of with them all laughing about it.... So Danni freaks out and winds up taking it personal and allllllll of this back lash came about... and yet she STILL is playing the victim. She took the lie about an ambush and ran with it when she inappropriately took it personal. Why did they apologize to Danni? They are enabling her destructive behavior. |

Not in the bit I heard. I only caught what they said around 9ish. I need to hear the full audio, because i know they also addressed it earlier in the show. Honestly, I'd be surprised if they did. I could see their bosses telling them not to bring up Sherm on air. |
