Dangerous? FFS! |
Actually, I think all the parents would be relieved. They probably don’t want to send anything in anyway, but feel they have to bc at snack time their kid will be the only one without something and will complain. For the good of everyone- just say no snacks. I don’t recall ever having snacks in elementary school, or water bottles. |
As if that makes a difference. Militant teachers only show kids that school is even more worthless than they originally thought. |
+1. We just racked up absences the year we had a teacher like this. The following year my kid had a great teacher, so they actually wanted to attend and learn. |
I ate junk food my entire childhood, and turned out fine. Once I could buy and make my own food, I made healthier choices, frankly because I was sick of eating junk. |
No, you're inadequate. Get some awareness. |

I really feel that the Earth and environment would heal if the human population dropped by 50%.
So between the crap American diet, mental health issues, microplastics and processed food, early onset of lifestyle illnessess, gun violence, anti-vaccine lobby, removing programs to provide food and healthcare for poor people, and growing poverty...America is doing its part. Besides, whose kids are eating junk food? It is not the high achieving kids from well to do families. Let them eat cake!! Lets close the achievement gap by other means!! |
This is so variable. The people I know who ate junk in childhood do not make healthier choices as adults. |
And yet they’re still more successful, more attractive, and generally happier than you!! |
I agree it’s sort of Darwinian at this point. We can only help so much. |
It's such a belligerently dumb opinion, defended so passionately that I'm convinced she just has a kink for people yelling at her. |
They're not. There probably are successful people who eat junk as adults, even if I don't know any. I wasn't being rude in giving my experience, but you are. You don't seem very happy yourself. |
Love how judgmental busybodies genuinely think they’re not rude. You are being rude by even formulating an opinion on other adults personal food choices, dear. And you’re an AH. |
It's rude to recognize that junk food is junk? |
Why do you say “snack” in the singular? I don’t know any native English speaker who refers to “snack” like it is a mealtime. |
