I've had Elon blocked since 2024 but had to unblock him to read all his messy comments. He is dropping SO many hints that he's going to fund anyone, regardless of party, who will challenge those who voted for the OBBB.

I know US is not big enough for both egos. I did not expect things to from 0 to 100 in one day though. I guess post-menopause men are way too emotional.

Was just telling my DH that I didn’t expect it to last this long - I’m definitely on record here somewhere saying that it would inevitably explode. I was hoping for that before the campaign was over, alas.

Elon is in the wrong here. His position was always meant to be temporary and he was doing things that just don't work in government (firing the nuclear security organization, making the VA Suicide Hotline people report into work and sit next to each other in cubicles, cooking the books about "saved" money, etc). But Trump could see that he did a good, selfless thing by coming in and trying to help out and he threw a party for him the last day so they could leave on good terms.
