Hate to break it you but there are more BRAVE players on Union 2010 than SYC! The Union team lost 11-0 last year at playoffs and then merged with BRAVE. 5 players being left from syc hardly deserves a thank you.

BRAVE families are puffing their chests out. If you didn’t merge with union, you guys would have not qualified for San Diego or would have been in the North American Cup.

They released a basically fake coaching slate, forced players to secure deposit then when the slate changed, these players were not allowed to leave unless they paid the full 25-26 fee for the next season. It's disgusting what FVU at the top is (VYS and BRYC)

LMFAO. I’m sure these conversations are hilarious.
Clyde: Why do you want to leave?
Parent: Because of the coaches at Bethesda (BL, NM and ML) that we like
Clyde: Well I think you should stay?
Parent: Why?
Clyde: Because I’m going to coach
Parent: But you told me that BL, NM and ML were going to coach before tryouts
Clyde: Well the powers that be didn’t let me pick my staff
Parent: So you thought these were the best choices to coach and you got overruled. Well I’m concerned about who is running the club?
Clyde: So am I!

News flash… you play for BRAVE now. CW worked for McLean. McLean is now playing GA. CW is employed by BRAVE. KJ and MV call the shots.

Sorry to break it to you, but you should never get soccer intelligence from DCUM for Union [or any other team].

CW

Is CW actually coaching? We left the 2011 team because he told us he was going to coach and really didn’t do anything with our team. We also left because we saw the coaching slate and it screamed $&@?show. It was pretty disappointing cause we heard we were going to get ML.

You should have stayed for DB. He is the only coach left on that staff that has a winning career ECNL record.

A winning record based on one season? He is over 40 and it took him that long to get into ECNL?

What a weird insult? I personally think it is better to be ready to coach in the ECNL than not. How old were the other coaches when they started in the ECNL?
Before the ECNL he was building the best team in the area. The guy wins and his teams play a style of soccer that will win in the future.
Let’s not deflect from the fact the other FVU coaches lose more than they win over numerous years.

Building the best team? That’s quite a bit of praise for a coach with one season in ECNL and his biggest accomplishment is recruiting the best players to play for his u little team.

The coaches and parents at FVU deserve each other

He has half a season of ECNL experience after leaving NVA mid season.

CW efforts will be on 2013s. Won’t have time for the 2010’s. They also will figure that that group is safe anyways and players won’t leave since recruiting is about to start and San Diego was successful. Get ready to be taken advantage of, 2010s!

I cannot think of a bigger misconception than Clyde helping with the college process. He did not come to one ECNL showcase in two years. He did not come to Nashville, Florida or NC last year and did not come to St. Louis, Florida or NC this year.
And I’ll save you my thoughts on her coach this past year. If the rumors are true about him taking the 2009s, I pray for all of those players and families.

Did any of the FVU coaches provide any help with the college process? Not many have committed.

Yes JA and BL were a great help with my daughter’s commitment. I know that NM helped with others. About half the team and most of the previous union players that were not younger/trapped are committed. The coach doesn’t seem to even understand how to help the players.
