LS won't fold but expect NVA to fold back into LS when they realize they aren't sustainable on their own. The LS board would be smart to choke off resources to NVA. Why would LS want to be the 3rd or 4th best club in Loudoun?

+1 NVA days as a separate entity are numbered

NVA is the fist team of Loudoun. How are they going to fold their 1st team lol.

lol. You are funny. Struggle against who? McLean , SYC or Revolution? The strong GA teams are in Jersey and PA.

Depends on the age. Younger groups in DMV have always been strong

the mlsn boys are going to get smoked. They will now see what athletes look like. The slow undersized boys are going to get freight trained.

Don't pay much attention to rankings but am curious why you say this. Seems like the boys teams 2010 and older are ranked ahead of all but 1 or maybe 2 MLSN teams in VA. Are you talking about getting smoked by the Academy teams (which I get)?

The only age group I am familiar with is the 08s and I can't imagine them getting worked unless they lost a bunch of players. They're really good.

I agree. The "freight trained" comment is biased nonsense. My son is on a local MLSN side and NVA ECNL squad in his age group is as good or better than most teams in the MLSN division. And if they added top level players thanks to the new league, they'll be top 6.
only one age group is going to compete. The rest will be freight trained. The kids are in for a shell shock in terms of speed of play and just pure athleticism. Should have stayed in diluted ECNL which hid the deficiencies.

Many good clubs in northern Virginia. Why is LS/NVA hated so much more than other clubs?

arrogance, covid in refund fiasco, quitting girls ecnl for mlsn after forcing alliances, alliance not alliances, politics and parent driven exposure vs merit, veogate + coaches dismissal…

From the outside the tag of being the richest county with rowdy sidelines …

Others can chime in. Some hatred is earned some isn’t

Don't forget nepotism, poor coaching, and worse administration.

Don’t know what “veogate” is nor the inner politics of coaches being dismissed. But are these issues unique to LS/NVA? Or are they issues common to other clubs of comparable sizes?

Was this the time the NVA coaches fought each other or when they fought with the other team's coaches or the parents? There's so many to choose from.

veo got a couple coaches disciplined and removed due to how they spoke to the kids. Dont know much about coach fights but i wouldn’t doubt it might have been recorded if it happened. Depends on if they remembered to put it on the parents side vs coaches.

all clubs have issues. This club however made some drastic changes that pissed off a bunch of folk who ignored its flaws pre change on the girls side. The boys side…. Mlsn teams and coaches selections?! Seems some people are worried they wont thrive outside of ecnl.

Too much drama around LS/NVA. All teams see changes at the end of the season. Some leave some stay. With NVA only older teams had outflows due to panic in a recruiting year. Otherwise, then younger ages 2011 and below are still intact with normal changes in regards to departures/arrival. These age groups will do well outside of ECNL.
