I personally think it’s dumb to refuse to listen to music by a certain artist just because you don’t like them as a person.

I think Michael Jackson was a pedophile but still love to listen to “Beat It.”

No pun there right??
NP. People can do what they want, but it would be tough to stop listening to all the music associated with these artists. Just P Diddy alone; I don't think people realize how much R&B and rap music Diddy had his hands in. I'm hard-pressed to think of what top artists in those genres did not work with Diddy. I mean, Diddy co-wrote and produced with Aretha Franklin for one of her albums. And then all the artists that he signed under Bad Boy Records. Also, his umbrella company Combs Enterprises. Did you know that Diddy designed the Mavericks alternative jersey for two seasons? Good luck avoiding all things associated with Diddy and Combs Enterprises.

Agreed. It's unrealistic to stop listening or taking in everything and artist does because they're bad.

They're not artists.

If someone is dead, its fine to listen to their music as they aren't benefiting from the income. However, why would you help a terrible person earn more money if they dodged legal consequences by using their money and power.

Not at all. They're not "artists." They're into making tons of money through lyrics and behavior that show very little or no respect for women.

Jay Z’s attorney just put out a statement that Jay Z and Diddy are NOT friends.

This seems like a bad move. Diddy certainly is not going to be pleased by this news and will be willing to snitch on what he knows about Mr. And Mrs. Carter and I am sure he knows alot.

Will they flee the country like Ashton and Mila?

Diddy is apparently spending time writing in journals and telling his life story. He has dirt on everyone in Hwood

I don’t get why Drake is a pedophile because he complimented a 17 year old’s breasts when on stage in Canada. 16 is the age of consent in Canada.

This is what makes many of these cases strange. Don’t forget R Kelly legally married a 15 year old Aaliyah in 1994 Chicago. It’s gross but it was perfectly legal back then.

The age of consent in the 90s was high school age even in blue states so if we retroactively convict, what about Elvis Presley?

The conversation was about supporting these people by listening to their music or partaking in their products. What you call them (artist or not) is irrelevant. You could start a new thread to discuss what their label should be.

R Kelly peed on a 12 year old and filmed it too during their " sex tape"

He also just had a closed-door meeting with certain members of the press to go over inconsistencies. Based on what's already come out it seems very likely this woman is lying about what happened. It makes angry for the real victims.
