She reminded me a bit of Margaret Qualley - not her looks, of course. But her voice and mannerisms are kind of goofy/nerdy and reminiscent of MQ. Gwyneth Paltrow is a really good mimic, and I can tell she gets a lot of her personality from her mom.

I agree her goofy demeanor reminds me of Margaret Qualley. She does comes across as quite vapid, though. Also her lips are super weird. I've never seen anyone with what look like bags in the upper lip. Did the lip filler she got several years ago deform them? Very odd looking.

Maybe her mom was against her going on accutane but everyone I know who has cured their acne for good.

My son went on accutane twice and it did not cure his acne, and he has had a lot of chronic gi issues after which can be a side effect. I wouldn’t recommend it after his experience.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that. My DS had only very minor side effects and it helped tremendously. Has he tried digestive enzymes to improve gut health?

Reading this thread with all the mean moms posting about some random girl with a famous parent is depressing. It must really suck to be this girl knowing everyone feels very free to endlessly criticize her things she has no control over.

First of all, he was 26 when he married her. I don’t think she is a bad person at all, but maybe I’m missing something. Goop is weird, I will give you that. But that doesn’t make her a bad person. I follow her on ig and she acts pretty funny and down to earth. They seem to have done a great job of co-parenting after they “consciously uncoupled.” Lol.

I actually think they have both done a good job of not shoving their kids in our faces. Now that they are adults, it seems that they both want to be in show biz. Of course their parents will help them out. As would most parents if their kids wanted to go into their field of work. She has co-songwriting credits on a couple of his recent songs. Who knows how much she actually contributed, but I am a pretty big Coldplay fan, and the lyrics do seem like quite a departure from their others. If she did do a lot of the writing, she might be quite talented.

The video that sparked this is no different from videos posted by thousands of random girls her age, so I don’t think it was out of entitlement or self-importance. She starts out saying that this is probably the first time anyone has heard her talk, which seems pretty modest and down to earth.

In this dark and depressing time, we need more Chris Martins in this world. Leave him and his family alone!

That said, maybe she was a bully. If so, that was 5+ years ago. There’s a good chance she learned from it and has changed. The 2 biggest bullies in my HS did a complete 180 soon after we graduated and became pillars of the community. They are seriously traumatized and horrified by their own actions and take every opportunity to apologize. And let me tell ya, those girls were MEAN! Nobody would have ever guessed they would turn into good people.

DP. How would you know this? You have no idea. I have zero connection to Apple Martin, but I do have a daughter about the same age who was the subject of malicious rumors in high school.
