Mom's fine motor skills (or lack thereof)

I'm having a hard time with all the little buttons, loops, etc. on my kids' clothes. Is it just age (early forties) or is it a (post)-pregnancy-related change?

pick up a pair of plus-100 glasses at CVS. That happens in your early 40s.

I don't think it's a vision problem in this case (although I also have that)--more a loss of manual (or digital) dexterity. And man does it make me feel old.

I use a crochet hook for some of the loops. They are just so tiny that it takes forever if I try to do them with my hands.

Besides the tiny little button problem, I think I drop things a lot more than before I had my kids. That definitely started during pregnancy.
