With Ohio and New Mexico flipping blue, Obama has 200 electoral votes with California still to report. He leads Florida and North Carolina. He has a good chance of winning Virginia and Indiana. Its time to pop the champaign corks.

When I woke up my baby this AM, I felt hopeful for her future for the first time in 8 years.

I had that same notion when I went to get the baby this morning too. I felt silly thinking that, but I now that I'm a parent, my vote was even more important to me. |

We will sometimes be disappointed. We should sometimes be disappointed. As he said, he is going to be the President of those who voted against him, and it will be his duty to think seriously about their views, and sometimes those will be the views he follows.
Even GWB sometimes angered his base and did reasonable [to me] things. |
