I'm having a small 1st bday party and wanted to cater food -- I looked into Red, Hot and Blue and saw that it has mixed/just OK reviews. Any other suggestions out there for reasonably priced BBQ caterers in NOVA?
I've always liked RH&B, loooooove their potato salad.
I have done Famous Dave's and picked up the food. They did an excellent job of organizing the platters, provide serving spoons and thongs. Plus I like their food. You're really not going to find super good BBQ in NoVa.
Willard's BBQ in Chantilly is the best I have had in this area, I am pretty sure they do catering.
Hill Country caters or you can pick up. Very good texas brisket, chicken is very good too. They are in the District but not hard to get to.
Our neighbors had Famous Dave's at a party and both DH and I got really sick afterwards... Also, spoons and WHAT?
|
Rocklands is good.
They do cater, and +1 on the food. |
Rock lands is the best. Their BBQ sauce so tangy and not too sweet.
Backyard BBQ is the hands down best BBQ we have found in this area! Try the brisket.... Very good......and now I'm hungry!
I THINK Carolina Brothers in Ashburn will cater or at least do large amounts for parties. They are the BEST. Their ribs fall off the bone and their pulled pork is also delicious and not too saucy like some places can be. Their baked beans are the best I've ever had in my life. Their other sides are mac and cheese and coleslaw which are also pretty good. I would definitely try them.
I second the votes for Rocklands and Backyard Barbecue in Arlington.
Now I want some BBQ in Arlington!
We just did Pork Barrel in Del Ray for a baptism party -- it was awesome. Didn't even call ahead, just went by when they opened and picked up everything we needed. Got rave reviews.
I second this. They are at the Sycamore/Williamsburg merge in Arlington. |
