| I'm doing my first kid's party and have read all the stories on here about low attendance/no-shows. Is it rude to send out a reminder for an evite that went out two weeks agon (and was responded to by most people about that time)? |
| I'm pretty sure that evite automatically sends out an email about 2 days prior to the event with a reminder. I've responded to a few evites in the last week or so, and have received reminders exactly 2 days before the event. |

Evite does send out a reminder two days before, but you can also send out a message any time you want.
Depending on the event, two days sometimes isn't sufficient say if you have to make food or have an exact head count. Go ahead and send out a reminder now to give you peace of mind. It's not rude. |
| Oh, thanks. I had no idea. First time organizing with evite, too. |
| Not rude at all. I appreciate reminders. You can send them to only people who have not rsvped or everyone. I usually send one to non responders a week or two before and a general reminder to all 2 days before. |
+1. Intend to forget things and appreciate the reminders. |
| I've had problems with evites. I've had to forward evites to people I've seen on the invite list but then they tell me they never received it. They checked their spam folder and still couldn't find it. |
Yup, me too. And I've been one of the "never got its," even though I get most evites, no problem. Seems quirky. |
+2- Seriously, please remind me. I have your daughter's party in my phone calender but I can overlook almost anything so I appreciate the reminder. |
