Refurbished vitamix?

I looked at the vitamix website and refurbished standard ones are still with a five yr warranty and are much less costly.
I'm unsure if the type makes a difference-it looks like you can't choose and 5200 and other types are possibilities.
If I want it for smoothys, soups, sauces and maybe nut butter, is thSt okay, or are the standard types limiting?

I bought a refurbished 5200 a few years ago (needed it for my daughter with special needs). It works like a champ. I have never had any issues with it, but if I did their warranty program is excellent!
