Do you have a passport card

in addition to a book passport? I don't anticipate needing a card for travel by land or sea ports-of-entry from Mexico, Canada, Bermuda or Jamaica anytime soon so I am wondering if it might be useful for something else like a easy to carry ID. It's only $20 more...

Why would you ever need it when you have a passport?

I got one for my son. We use it as an ID.

Yes I have one. I can see using it on a cruise and not taking my passport. You could use it for proof of citizenship when you don't want or need your passport, I guess. It's really personal preference.
