Couples and singles in their 30s, plus kids Indoor/outdoor Beer, wine and liquor provided Grilled food provided Need an item that is good at room temp. -- lots of people will be attending, so there should already be plenty of guacamole, salsa, dips, fruit, cheeses, etc. (the basics) so I'm trying to step it up a bit without getting too involved. Ideas? |

I make a salad that is always a hit, similar to pps orzo salad
Brown rice, lentils or chick peas Diced tomatoes and cucumbers Feta Dressing made from oil, lemon juice, garlic salt and pepper dash of cumin Super easy, and it is good warm cold or room temp |
| Watermelon salad - Just get a whole, seedless watermelon and cut it into chunks. Mix with fresh mint and feta. It is my go to summer bring along and it is a hit everywhere. |
| I made a 9x13 pan of cornbread and it went over really well at a recent potluck. Easy too! |
OP here. This is it. thanks! everything else sounds great but every year there is always a ton of fruit, pasta and other salads, dips, etc and so much goes to waste, sadly....wanted to try something different |
