Obama Landslide (in Dixville Notch)

Things are starting out on the right foot (or would that be left foot?) with a 15 - 6 victory for Obama over McCain in Dixville Notch, NH. The town that traditionally provides the first election results has not voted for a Democrat since 1968. Four years ago, Bush won 19 - 7. So, this is a good omen.

Clearly, Dixville Notch is not "real America".

I hope you are right. Are these numbers from exit polls. Many exit polls were wrong from 2004.

I don't think they are exit polls - they are the actual results. They vote just after midnight.

I'm not that superstitious, but I don't want to be devastated and depressed if the reality becomes the opposite of what I want it to be.
