Ha! My mixer broke just when I was in the middle of mixing - but it's not in the budget to replace it.

Seriously now, I wish I could afford at least some of the therapies my DS needs. The ones that will really make a difference, not the bells and whistles.

This isn't really going to help you with affording the therapies, but my KitchenAid broke last year (it's 13 years old) and my husband bought a power supply from KitchenAid and replaced it himself in a few minutes. Saved us a few hundred dollars!
