I hear the Hill will be really safe around 2050. Really. Meanwhile, the pre-teens are doing their best to keep up with the current generation of street thugs.

wow, I'm actually pleased with the police and how this person handled the whole thing.
I've lived here for 4 years and it's a wonderful place to live. Thanks for sharing. |
| Right I am sure the mom is going to teach her a lesson like this is the first bad thing. When the kid is assaulting people it's too late and they should lock up this rejected life form. |
| Ah the anti-Hill troll is back again. Do you have a google alert set? |
| Certainly this would never happen anywhere else except for the hill. |
+1 I really don't get the animosity toward Capitol Hill. I only wish we'd had the money to buy there. |
| Don't feed the trolls, people. |
| Why would the kids be cursing and telling the bike person to get our of their neighborhood when it's clear the kid's parents rent and don't own. |
| I think the hip guy on the bike is disillusioned into thinking the kids will learn a lesson |
| I'm going back to the thread about shower curtains. This one is too depressing. |
Yeah, how dare renters identify with a neighborhood
|
NO the point is that the guy on his bike is just as part of the neighborhood and in fact has laid down even more permanent roots. |
Yes, that's a wonderful story! Handled the way it should be. Thanks, MPD! |
Hey thanks, OP, that was a a lovely story and I wouldn't have seen it if you hadn't posted it.

Actually, the guy lives in Trinidad so he actually doesn't live in that neighborhood but I don't think that's what the kids were talking about! |
