| Is this insurance worth having as far as maternity leave? I want to get pregnant in the next year and am thinking it could cover a portion of my maternity leave in case I don't have enough paid leave saved. |

Yes, however, I think usually there is a waiting period before they will cover leave for childbirth.
Also, generally they will only pay 6 weeks for vaginal birth or 8 weeks for c section, at a percentage of pay, so do your math re the premiums. |
