What do you mean? Is not "one person, one vote"?

Was reading the other post about a possible tie tomorrow... I thought it was one person, one vote system..if not like that, how does it work? How do they count the vote?

| I did not see the other thread, but I presume that they are referring to our electoral system whereby, for a given state, it is winner takes all. If the vote is 60:40 in State X, the candidates don't get a proportional share of teh electoral votes, the winner get all of them. Therefore, on a national scale, it is not one person-one vote that determined the outcome of an election. |
