When I was younger, I did not shy away from (very) visible logos, and I have gotten many years of use out of my Neverfull. Now I'm on the hunt for a replacement that will hold a similar amount of stuff (tons), yet look polished and withstand a lot of wear and tear. I'm willing to spend a hefty amount -- probably 2K or so -- if it will get me through the next ten years without looking ratty or dated. Suggestions? Flame away if you must; I'm willing to take the heat in exchange for some leads on a replacement bag. |
I wish I was resonding to help you, but I love the Neverful and would like to buy a gently used one - any suggestions for a reputable seller? |
LV Citadine PM $2510 |
I'm not a fan of the LV logo bags- never have been. I do really like the Goyard St. Louis bags. They're very similar to the Neverfull but not nearly as recognizable and come and numerous different colors. I've been playing with the personalization tool on their website and thinking of buying one for myself. |
I see the Goyard St Louis bag everywhere. What's the replacement for the St Louis? |
LV will replace the handles and outside leather if yours are looking worn. It's expensive but not as bad as buying a new one. I had to have several bags freshened up (inherited them from my mother who had been collecting them since the 60s) and they look amazing now. |
I hear you on the logos, but I would stick with the LV. Maybe the Damier Azur doesn't seem so out there with the logo. |
the straps peel and fall apart. if you complain, the company will tell you that it is normal for that to happen and send you on your way. |
