Frankly I have never seen them in ANY bakery in this area (the DMV). I can't think of any good Italian bakeries around here.

Do you mean Sfogliatelle? Yeah, this area is seriously devoid of good Italian pastries. I know you can get pastries shipped from some places in Boston (Mike's Pastry), but I don't know how their shipping is.

Oh. Mike's Pastry. I used to live down the street from that heavenly shop. I can still smell the aroma when you walk through the doors.

Sadly, Marcella's mentioned in this thread closed. It wasn't much on ambience but the food was sooo good. It's a really crappy restaurant now.
