Yes. I thank him every day for the life he has given us and what a great father he is.

DH yes, my own father no - but then that's because he decided not to be a part of our lives about three years ago.

I am estranged from my dad and I am always sort of sad around this time of year... he refuses to talk to me . DH got an extra donut at church special for dads lol.

Yes to husband,my dad,and FIL. I tell my husband every day what an amazing father he is and whenever i talk to or see my dad i always say goodbye by saying he is the best father in the whole wide universe (an inside thing between us that's been going on since i was 5).

DH yes, Dad no. I have a complicated relationship with my dad. I've forgiven him for a lot of shit but we're not close and I feel like it's a lie to call him up on a day like this when he has been a pretty shitty father for the vast majority of my life. But I always say an extra little prayer of thanks to God for giving me DH and for giving me the wisdom to choose him.

Yes! Called my dad. My In-laws are visiting this weekend, so we got to wish FIL a Happy Father's Day in person this year. Called both of my brothers-in-law. We had a special breakfast and gave my DH his presents this morning.

I celebrated with my DH today and tried to balance that with the sadness I feel for my father, who died in 2011. It's a tough one for me.
