Is the OOB/lottrey process changing in the 09-10 school year?

It is a specialized admissions process separate from the OOB lottery now.

So, is this differrent from prior years? The process is ahrd to grasp. If you are not in-boundary, is it still a lottery of qualified students (that is, those that speak Spanish)?

I know that they give a language test for the Spanish speakers, but I'm not sure whether they do a lottery of those who qualify.

The Office of Bilingual Education of DCPS has really helpful staff. Do does the school Ombudsman office. Give them a call.
