Patio French Door Shutter / Blinds Options

The entire house has plantation shutters but we left the french patio doors to deal with later on.
What would you consider putting on them for shade? I was originally avoiding plantation shutters in fear of them being to bulky but I have seen some pictures that look nice. Our plantation shutter installer did not recommend them and instead recommend very skinny vinyl blinds |

| I have a wood/bamboo woven roman shade on mine. Are you trying to block some light or all? Mine let light in and don't give 100% privacy but we don't need it. A Lined fabric roman shade would work if that's what you need. |
