In a twilight zone with time changing

Our parenting style is to just follow our baby's cue for most of her basic needs(sleep, eating etc). We don't follow any book suggestions on parenting. This information may or may not be pertinent to what I am about to say but it definitely allowed us to experience such a strange phenomenon.

For weeks my husband I have been fretting about the time change. Our DD goes to bed at 7:30PM and gets up around 6:30AM. She is only 14 months old so you cannot rationalize with her about going to bed early etc. Then all of the sudden few days ago, she refused to go to bed at 7:30. Given our parenting style, we let her stay up. Around 8:30 she began to rub her eyes. We promptly took her to her room and she went to sleep. She began to wake up around 7:30AM. Basically she somehow managed to put herself on the daylight savings time on her own few days before it happened.

Is this weird or what? Do kids have an internal day light savings time? Did your kids do the same?

Though I will miss my extra hour of sleep in the morning, this definitely puts my faith back into our parenting style of letting her tell us what she needs for most basic needs that is.

This didn't happen with us - babies woke up/slept on their previous schedule. Am wondering how long adjustment is going to take...With older DS (2 years) we pushed his nap yesterday later b/c we were running around in the morning and that seems to have helped with his adjustment.
