Summer reading

Anonymous
Please recommend your summer reading list. So far I have Khaled Hosseini's new book. I might read the book by the author of The Glass Castle when it comes out tomorrow. I have enjoyed books like Gone Girl (and have read the others written by the same author). Is there anything else you recommend that is easy reading?

I read the Khaled Hosseini book, have the new Jeannette Wells book on hold, and loved Gone Girl, so it sounds like we have similar tastes!

The Shining Girls seems like it might be sort of similar to Gone Girl.
I also have The Widow Waltz, Sisterland, and Beautiful Day on my list.

I LOVED we need to talk about Kevin. Well, as much as you can love a book like that. Creeped me out for a long time.

Can't decide if I want to see the movie.

I'm almost finished with Beyond Belief, about a woman who grew up in Scientology. Good, easy read.

Agent Zigzag- true story about a spy- very well written. If you like Alan Furst you'll like this.

I hated we need to talk about Kevin. The movie wasn't much better, and it's definitely not Summer reading.

Just finished The Fault in Our Stars. Could not put it down and immediately started to re-read it after I finished it. Googled it and saw that they are making a movie of it. A very affecting novel.

The Art of Fielding by Chad Harbach. You do not need to like or know anything about baseball.
