Is Weight Watchers good for losing just a few pounds?

I posted this in Health, but then realized there's a Fitness section so reposting --
I haven't been able to lose the last 5 pounds since I've had my kids (it's been a few years). It may be just 5 pounds but I'm not happy with how I look and feel. Is Weight Watchers a big commitment and more for larger weight loss? Is it worth it to sign up for "just" those last few pounds?

you might want to try calorie counting on your own. and increase your daily water.

Cut out sugar and wheat and increase your water for a couple weeks. The pounds will come right off.
