More than half of those girls are completely gone. Anyone claiming the fcv girls came and took over is lying in u12 and under. Most are gone or leaving after this year. Though a number of those 14s and 13s are team hoppers about to be on their 4th club move trying to get on better teams as mediocre talent. They were at FCV North for a reason and it wasn't that they were amazing soccer players. |
No one is claiming FCV girls took over at any age group. The only claim, for U12 and above, other than U19, is that a significant number of FCV girls joined revolution this season and that influx clearly made those revolution teams much better than they were last year. |
He coached the 2015s black team this year. No one is sad he's gone. Interesting getting a random Monday morning email he had resigned from all his teams effective immediately a few weeks ago though. He'll land somewhere else and get to scream and berate a new group of young girls I'm sure. |
What are you talking about? The 2014 and 13 was what was being repeatedly responding to. ![]() |
Thank you FCV for saving REV!!!!! |
So JH is gone? |
Almost all of the 2013–2015 FCV North girls moved to VRSC last year. This year, about half of them transferred to other clubs. A couple of the top players joined the first teams of major clubs, while some stayed with VRSC and now play alongside the club’s homegrown talent. |
That is a big exaggeration of the North girls. A number of them did make top teams elsewhere but very few went to good 'major' ones and most did not get Rev top team offers but second team offers. I heard a bunch are jumping clubs again for next year as well, go figure. |
Check the rooftop bar. |
Just seems odd why let him go before the season ends? Something must have happened? |
I don’t care where the players came from, I just want the club’s first teams to be increasingly successful in GA. With the exception of U19, all the GA teams were competitive this season. There’s no way last year’s black teams would have been competitive in GA—they might even have made this year’s TSJ GA teams look good—so either the coaches are miracle workers or some outside talent joined the club to play GA. I hope they stay, both they and the current legacy players work hard to get better, and more outside players come next year. VRSC took a big step forward in GA this year, but they have a long way to go to be on par with the top clubs in the region. |
ha! I see lot of coaches there |
Just wait till VRSC takes down LS in GA next season. And yeah, I said LS, not NVA. |
I would hope that they would beat all of the Loudoun teams next year, if they don't it would not be a good look for VRSC. |
The 09's did. Thank goodness too, because that 09 Black team went winless in USYS NL the year before. |
