Sean “Diddy” Combs accused of gang rape of teen girl in new lawsuit

He has been given a chance. I feel bad for the prosecutors. They tried the best they could but it was so hard. I am sure they were disgusted working on this and having to see the videos. I am sure they wish they could have charged him with crimes that the time limitations didn’t allow.

The prosecution must have sensed trouble when they took out arson and kidnapping a few weeks ago.

The witnesses did not do a great job at all and Cassie’s multiple payouts did not bode well for the prosecution. Not even the 38 week pregnancy could save the prosecutors. The text messages between Cassie and Diddy show that she was the more forward person in the relationship of 10 years. She frequently asked for freakoff sessions or drugs when he was out working or with his family.

20 years means he may die in prison. He’s 55 years old

I don’t care, do you? 20 years would support justice for the victims. Cassie and Jane weren’t the only victims. Diddy physically assaulted his staff, including men!
C’mon. He’s scum. Judge delivers sentencing. And I do think he expected a harsher verdict, therefore, think he’ll deliver a harsher sentence.

Cassie uses methadone for her drug addiction. If you saw how these women in Hollywood operate and the drugs they use, you would not feel much sympathy for them. Harvey Weinstein and Diddy are pure examples for why promiscuity is dangerous to males and how money and power provide men who aren’t handsome the opportunity to control the pretty women they strongly resent for not being able to get before money and fame

Disagree. Cassie is a victim and you cannot change this. She clearly has problems but the whole hollywood industry preys on insecurity and so many young people get sucked in. I am sure it was hard for her to testify. The problem is this case was not a case that addressed what happened to her.

For this case to have been about what happened to Cassie, wouldn't she have had to press charges herself, years ago when the hotel incident took place?

It seems like you don't know anything about the jury but you have decided that they are "thick". Thick why, because they delivered a verdict that you don't agree with?

I think so maybe a lawyer can weigh in. These lawyers both prosecutors and defenders have a thankless job. I was thinking we are all judging or many of us but god had to be hard.

It was 8 women and 4 men. That would've help the Prosecution team. THe race it was in New York, so I am guessing it somewhat like you will see in the DMV, white, black and browns etc.

What happened to her was DV which was not addressed in any of these charges. Not even one count of assault was placed despite the hotel tape. Coercion was placed instead based on Cassie’s lie that she was forced to do the freakoffs. Before this criminal case, she came out with a lengthy statement to the public where she says she was abused and coerced into prostitution yet maybe she didn’t understand the meaning of prostitution because Diddy was never paid for any of this. This was not a money making enterprise for him. He was spending money.

Racketeering would require some element of profiteering here. The only profiteer it turns out was Cassie. She received money and gifts and retired her parents thanks to her relationship with Diddy. The most damning message is the one where Diddy asks (multiple times at different occasions) if she wants to stop the freakoffs and she says no, never.

Cassie is the link that ruined this case

Every Jury member has a degree and many advanced degrees. This was a jury that was focused on facts and not drama. I am sure every one of these jurors do not like Diddy but were not going to allow someone to be convicted of a crime they did not commit.

The prosecutors, defense, and jury were alll shocked when Cassie said while on the stand that she also sued the Intercontinental hotel and received an additional 10 million dollars as well. She didn’t tell the prosecutors that beforehand and decided to share that while on the stand even though it made their case look bad. She didn’t seem to realize this because she isn’t smart

Yes, 8 men 4 women. Profiles include advanced degrees. I believe all of them are well educated.

I am working and listening so you're right, in this case it did help DIDDY.

Is there a way Diddy can sue Cassie to pay his legal bills out of her settlement? She lied to the Feds and the public perhaps to make herself look innocent in the eyes of her husband who I predict will divorce her in less than 5 years

Cassie received an extra $10 million from the hotel? Why would the hotel give her money they didn't abuse her?
