Bleeding after stopping the pill mid cycle

Anonymous
I just finished a period in May (the first day of that period was May 26 or so). I started a new pack with the intention of stopping once the pack was done but then decided to stop mid cycle and be done with the pill. I began to heavily spot yesterday in the morning and by mid morning today my bleeding has been incredibly heavy. I'm charting and have been taking my temps, etc. Temps have been low.

Should I consider this a period or withdrawal bleeding? Does it matter for the purposes of charting? Does anyone know when I can expect to ovulate? We are hoping to conceive in August or September. Thanks so much and sorry if this question has already been covered.

It's a period, probably should have until you were done with the pack. Take some iron if you feel tired, etc.

It's a period. The hormonal signal to start your period is falling progesterone and estrogen...the two active ingredients in BCPs.
