Montessori school past kindergarten.

Anonymous
Does anyone have any experience with Montessori Schools past kindergarten? I am considering two, Manor and Lone Oak, but I am open to hearing about other schools. I would love to get an idea of how the days are structured for older children.

I am also interested in this subject. I will take a look at The Oneness School in Chevy Chase.

there's evergreen, also
I decided NOT to go for montessori cos I thought it too unstructured; Iwas not certain my child would study ANYTHING she disliked...
Also, LAMB is a DC charter montessori with plans to eventually go to 5th grade or 6th...they're at 3rd or 2nd now...

Have you had a chance to go there?

I have been to Oneness, I can't say enough positive things about it. It has the right balance of ethics, academics, fun. It seems really nurturing.
