When will the hi-low mullet dress madness end?!

Is this a conspiracy between the tailors and dry cleaners of the world, and fashion companies??

All too often I see a lovely pattern/style from back, only to realize it's mullet awfulness from the front. WHY!?

Such an awful style that is ugly as hell and looks good on absolutely no one. I fail to understand why designers keep coming out with new mullet styles. Who wears that ugliness?!

I agree OP, it looks pretty stupid. And the ones that are less exaggerated look like someone who can't sew a hem made them. Definitely a stupid trend.

What is this? Could you post a link?

They're perfect for steamy summer in the city days. You people are so boring. You can't wear khaki or linen shorts every day.

Are you holding up this photo as an example of great fashion? Because everything about that woman screams hot mess. Horrible hair and that "dress" is shapeless and unflattering, not to mention that the sheerness of it patterned with black spandex bicycle shorts is just kind of skanky.

Mullet dress. They don't look good on anyone. I don't understand what imbecile came up with this style. So many cute fabrics that would look great as knee-length or long. These are such a waste.

I will say these dresses look fantastic on my 5'9", skinny SIL. They look so terrible on my 5'5'' average sized body. Something looked seriously wonky with my legs when I tried them on lol.

No I'm not saying it's great fashion. But it's generally what I look like and minus the black biking shorts I would wear that outfit in July. I suppose you're perfect. Whatever that is.

Also I would lose the black purse. Otherwise this a cool outfit that an average woman could pull off and not be drenched with sweat.

Really? I think it makes her look like she has no shape at all. But then again I have DDD boobs and a flat stomach, so pretty much anything loose makes me look pregnant. So, I automatically don't like those types of outfits because I'll never be able to wear them!!

I don't think that white dress is terribly flattering either, and would probably look even worse on someone who is not a beautiful movie star. Just wear a long dress, or a short dress! You don't need to have both!

These dresses always look like you stepped on the front hem, it ripped, and you just cut a hole in front. They are never cute.

That looks like an ugly night gown, not flattering for most people.

I don't hate the short-long style. That particular dress looks like a bathing suit cover up to me, but whatever.

No, not perfect - just able to put together an outfit that is flattering to my body type and age appropriate.
