Govt. contracting jobs and teleworking

I know at least some federal agencies encourage teleworking, but what about the govt. contracting positions? Anyone know if they generally offer similar benefits? I have heard the salaries tend to be a little higher because there is less job security.

Depends on the contract. My contract: the govvies get 1 telework day a week but the contractors only get to do it if the fed gov is closed.

Totally contract dependent.

Used to be able to do so. Current contract won't even let me make conference calls unless I'm in the government facility. No telework at all.

If government closes due to weather, I have to take leave and may not telework.

Super annoying since they are pushign telework so hard.
