Grace Episcopal School in Alexandria -good or bad?

We are moving to Alexandria this August and went to visit the area last week. At this point we are unable to find any spaces at preschools for my 4yr old son, except for Grace Episcopal School in Alexandria (the one on Russell Road) anybody has anything to say about the school? It is quite expensive compared to the other preschools we visited.

My girls went to K and grade school there. We loved it. Challenging cirriculum and nurturing teachers.

We nearly sent our child to K (and then elementary) there, but ended up going to a Catholic school that was our first choice (we hadn't expected to get in the Catholic school so wanted a back up). I would have been very happy sending my child there though. I thought it had just the right balance of a traditional curriculum but also lots of outdoor time and time for movement. I will say, however, that it seems like they are having trouble filling slots recently for some reason. Even though we turned them down last year, we got a call this past winter asking if we were happy with our current school and whether we would reconsider enrolling. DH asked if their enrollment was down and got the response of "our everything is down." For whatever that is worth. Still, I thought it was a bit of a hidden gem myself.

Many private schools and preschools that usually have waitlists are finding themselves w open spaces. Economy.
