It's at Rosedale Rec Center at 1701 Gales St NE. Pics and more info here:

| Very cute! I wish Fairfax was as interested in nice, new and interesting playgrounds as DC and Arlington are. |
To be fair, Clemynjontri sets the bar pretty high for inclusive playgrounds. |
I was going to say. I found PP's remark to be really odd. |
| Not a fun of Clemyjontri here. The place is always way too crowded, parking is minimal. It is pretty dangerous to cross Dolley Madison with little active kids. Plus, there's no shade there and in the summer, the rubber becomes extremely hot, so when a kid falls, he burns himself. |

Fairfax is huge. Clemyjontri is not convenient for many residents for a quick weekday playground trip. Also, my SN dc does not do well with crowds so the weekends are out.The last time we tried it, he started stimming, adults were staring at him even though it is billed as SN playground, ugh. Its kind of a victim of its own success for our family.
Fairfax does a terrible job with its neighborhood and public school playgrounds. The neighborhood playgrounds are few and far between and basically 1980s era tot lots. THe elementary school playgrounds are mostly the same thing and there are no nice modern playgrounds like in Arlington and DC. |
| So excited about this. There is a new library branch there too, redone rec center and pool. We are pretty psyched to have this in walking distance. (And while our kids have special needs, they aren't mobility related needs, but still - so so excited) |
