Any one commute from West Bethesda to Sterling VA?

Anyone commute on a daily basis from West Bethesda to Sterling VA?

Interested in average trip time there and back.

Also, recommendations for avoiding the worst traffic - e.g. Best time to go to work and return.

I go there every day from Potomac - Falls to MacArthur to Clara Barton to 495 to 267 to 28. Going isn't bad -- about 45-50 minutes depending on the traffic getting to Macarthur. Coming home can be awful because the ramp from 267 to the Beltway can get backed up. Sometimes I take Georgetown Pike home. I hate the drive. There is good shopping in Sterling and a Costco gas station, though.

I do the opposite, kind of. Great falls to Chevy chase. Georgetown Pike to 495 to Clara Barton is how I go. Before 7am is easiest and before 5pm, I've found.
