A psychiatrist was summoned for Diana basically after the honeymoon due to odd and erratic behavior and self harm (including while pregnant with William). She even used to talk to him about Harry by her own account.

Well deserved. Anne is the most like the Queen.

Both of Charles boys aren’t right upstairs. Diana was highly unstable and I don’t think she was more of a Britney Spears mom to her boys than many others think. Both boys talked about feeling like they were the adult and Diana was the child.

I think it’s her own doing in some ways and it’s poor management. She and Will want autonomy, she wants to make a name for herself, she didn’t want to sit for a picture because of her current mental state, KP said fine what are you going to give us, she didn’t want to deal but had to get something out, it was probably a traumatic experience. She threw something together and told them to stick it in their hats. And this is what she gets for not playing along.

I think it is separate and was a coping mechanism perhaps.

I think it's possible that Christmas, will have been her last public appearance as a member of the RF.

The Enquirer piece shows his real face, if you were concerned about your wife's well being you would not be using the press to drag her through the mud. He thinks he can trash her and come out smelling like a "Rose" perhaps. It's more like narc devaluing and replacement. Or a narc tantrum when you won't perform to their specifications. I think, however he has no intention of her returning, thus using his solo letterhead, not mentioning her, etc. He's done and perhaps trying to provoke her into instability to prove his "point."

No, it's just one data point. He has seemed over it for a while now. He has stopped speaking of her publicly. He was seen visiting her once in contrast to Camilla. He has gone back to solo letterhead after 13 years. She was blamed and shamed re: photo, a dig at her hobby that had previously been valued. Negative stories about her instability and temper are starting to run, one was then switched to Harry. Projection and deflection there.

I agree with this take. And I’m team Kate. I’m sure if their marriage fell apart, it was entirely because of William and his unresolved issues.

If he does not want to be king, sabotaging his public image as his elderly father fights cancer would be one strategy.

But then poor George gets stuck with it.

Queen Anne would be the ultimate plot twist. And the very best the BRF could do.
