glad I got MOCO dog licenses - get them now

All my pets have always received all the vaccinations and medical care. But I used to not get licenses. Just wasnt on my radar for whatever reason. I was not aware of fines that can be levied, etc.

Anyway, a few years ago I adopted a cat through the shelter, and I ended up licensing everyone.

I am sooooo glad I did. Today there was a complaint/notice on my door that was clearly intended for a neighbor whose dogs are poorly kept and a nuisance, and about whom neighbors have filed numerous complaints. I think they got the address wrong and it ended up at my door.

The notice said the dogs needed to be inspected for the condition, which thankffully they will find is perfect. And their licenses are current (I kind of wasnt sure about that but I am more together than I thought, or at least I was at one time!

However, had I not gotten licenses, I could have been fined to the tune of $100 per animal. For unvaccinated pets its $500!!!

So just want to say for all of you who have not, just do it. Its not that much and well worth it should anything silly like this ever come up!!!
