What small portable piece of excersise equipment is worth it?

To help build muscles? I already have done free weights but wish I had something with more structured use...
Any suggestions?

A couple of bands, especially if you have little space or if you're traveling.

Not sure how small you are talking about ... But I love the yoga-ball-with-the-flat-bottom attached to it.obviously cant recall the name of it just now but it's great for everything -- stretching, sit-ups, back-ups, free weights, everything.

11:09 - bosu ball?

I would probably have some dumbbells, a kettlebell, a few resistance bands and maybe a step for doing plyometric leg work. (You can also use it for calf raises.)

14:15 here - also, consider a yoga mat and a good power yoga video. Lots of the moves will really build muscle over time, like planks and downward dogs and warrior series poses.
