I have a family friend, in her 50s, was laid off several years ago from a retail position and can't find a job. Her skills are in retail and fashion, plus she's very organized, efficient, and responsible. I was wondering how and whether she can become a personal assistant? Where to start looking, whether she's an ok candidate (her age is a bonus or not), and what are the usual duties?
