applying for the same job twice- HR question

| I applied and interviewed for a fulltime job about 1 year ago. The interview went fine/good. I ended up not getting the position. Recently the same job opened up again but for a part time position (which would be more ideal for me). Again i applied and got a call for an interview. 3 days before the interview they called me back and told me that they just realized that i interviewed a year ago for the same position and the questions will be the same that they would just use my last interview as a reference and that they were going to cancel the upcoming interview. What does this mean? I am guessing that it is not favorable for me? Any thoughts? |

| They're not going to hire you this time, for the same reasons they didn't hire you last time. Look elsewhere. Sorry. |

| Sorry, PP is right. If they were even considering hiring you, they'd want to interview you again. Write this one off and continue your search. |

| Yup, they reviewed your file and realized why they didn't hire you the first time. Move on and look for another position. |
