Capitalizing position/job title in your cover letter when and where?

I have seen this done multiple ways but which way is correct? When do you capitalize the position title or your former position title in the cover letter? Some websites say capitalize it each time you mention it, others never.

Depends on the company/ organization. The trend now, especially in non profits, is to not capitalize titles. I expect that in the for profit world, they're still capitalizing, as this has been the norm for ever.
