I've had 4 losses and never had the RPL panel. All were early losses and 1 was a confirmed ectopic rupure-hence why no panel because my OB always said my problem was ectopics even though only 1 was confirmed. Others were suspected based on betas plateauing. However, now I'm pushing to get it done after a failed fertilization in an IVF even though we had great looking sperm and a great egg ( I did NCIVF with Dom.).
Has anybody ever had this test show anything that could be fixed? |
| Yes. Many RPL issues are fixable with simple interventions like baby aspirin or Lovenox. I'd start with the standard panel and if that doesn't work, consider more comprehensive immune testing. Good luck! |
| My RPL panel came back positive for more than one clotting disorder. It was an easy fix. The testing is really not that comprehensive so if you feel more is needed definitely pursue immune testing. |
