moving to Rockville, MD (Flower Valley) from out of state--recommend summer programs for 4 yr old?

| Hi, we are from out of state, but will be in Rockville/Flower Valley in early July. Can you point me in the direction of a place to research summer camp or vacation bible school or just weekly activities for a 4 yr old? thanks! |

| For a summer camp, you can try Camp Sonshine in Silver Spring. It's not too far from you, and there is a small religious component (since you mentioned bible school). You can also go to Montgomery County's website and see what classes the county offers, and check out the City of Rockville as well. If you have any specific activities in mind, you could list those and see what people in the area recommend. |

| OP here- thanks! I will look at those. In terms of activities, really looking for anything to keep my 4 year old son active: arts and crafts, music story times, just a place to get together and have him run around with other kids. Would like somewhere he could get dropped off for 3-4 hours per day. Down here in the South, they have a lot of church one week camps that are vacation bible school. We don't need the religious component, it's just something we are used to seeing. thanks! |
